Today we explore the city of Buenos Aires wherein we visit Cabildo – town hall, Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, districts of San Telmo and La Bocca, The Palermo, Avenida 9 de Julio and Metropolitan Cathedral. In the evening enjoy an amazing Tango Show with Dinner.

Today we fly Ushuaia for our amazing journey of Antarctica. On arrival we explore the city of Ushuaia – commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world.

Ushuaia – Embarkation on Cruise (8 Nights)
Today we embark the cruise late afternoon, after which our vessel will sail down the historic Beagle Channel. This historic channel transects the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in the extreme south of South America. Expect an air of excitement as we depart – the next time we see land we’ll be in the world’s most southern continent!

We will take Zodiac excursions from the ship to explore bays, channels and landing sites each day. With wildlife always at the forefront of our minds you will visit penguin rookeries, scout for humpback and Minke whales and search for a number of the southern seal species, including the cunning leopard seal. One of these in particular, in Orne Harbour, gives the opportunity to visit a chinstrap penguin colony high up on a ridge.

The journey back across the Drake Passage provides us with some final opportunities to enjoy the crisp Antarctic air. Spend time on the deck watching for seabirds and scouting for whales.

Today we continue our journey back through Drake Passage to Ushuaia. On board we enjoy a few final presentations by our Expedition Team or simply relax and reminisce about our experiences.

Disembarkation in Ushuaia – Departure to hometown from Buenos Aires
Today we will Disembark the cruise at Ushuaia. Later we fly to Buenos Aires. Its time now to say goodbye to our travel companions.
